We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you create an account via Clerk, we receive your name, email address, and any profile information you provide.
• Session transcripts (text only). Tinig uses your browser's built-in Web Speech API to transcribe speech locally on your device. Audio is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party server. We store only the resulting text transcript of a session.
• Coaching data. Nudges, scores, feedback, and any session-level analytics derived from your transcripts.
• Payment information. Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or CVV. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.
• Usage data. Log data such as pages visited, features used, timestamps, IP address, browser type, and device information.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Tinig service.
• Generate real-time coaching nudges and post-session debrief reports.
• Process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe.
• Send transactional emails such as receipts, session summaries, and security alerts.
• Respond to your support requests and communicate service updates.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data to train AI or machine-learning models without your explicit consent.

• We do not record or store audio from your sessions. Audio never leaves your device.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
• We do not share your session transcripts with other users or third parties except as described in this policy.

Tinig uses the following third-party services that may receive some of your information:

• Clerk — authentication and user management. See clerk.com/privacy.
• Stripe — payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Vercel — hosting infrastructure. Request logs may be retained per Vercel's standard data practices.

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies. We choose providers that meet strong privacy and security standards.

We retain your account data and session history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (for example, billing records).

You can request deletion of specific session transcripts at any time from within the app.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion. Request that we delete your account and associated data.
• Portability. Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection. Object to certain processing activities.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit and encrypted storage at rest. No system is perfectly secure; if you have security concerns, please contact us immediately.

To report copyright infringement, email dmca@focovi.app with a description of the copyrighted work, the URL of the infringing content, your contact information, and a statement of good faith. We will respond within 48 hours.
